Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival
Deadline: June 30, 2009. Fiber arts entries including Basketry, Crochet, Dyeing, Felting, Knitting, Mixed Media, Needlework/Embroidery, Paper, Quilting, Quilt Art, Rug Hooking, Spinning, Wearable Art, Weaving and Woodworking are being sought for the Gibson's Landing Arts Festival juried exhibit.

Call for Entries: Fiber Artistry – Journey Of The Imagination.
Deadline: July 1, 2009. Southeast regional fiber exhibit, open to artists residing in: AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV, DC. All fiber techniques. Juror: Glen Kaufman Sponsor: Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild.

Rome Art Center and Community Center Call for Entries
Rome Art And Community Center is a premiere Art Gallery in Central New York. RACC is home to four unique gallery spaces, all under the roof of a beautiful Tudor mansion. RACC is constantly searching for fresh talent to exhibit in its galleries. They are now accepting portfolios for the 2010 & 2011 Visual Arts Seasons.

FIBER DIRECTIONS 2009 NATIONAL JURIED FIBER EXHIBITION
Call for entries. Entry fee. Juried. Deadline December 15. Exhibit to be held March 13–May 10, 2009 at the Wichita Center for the Arts. Open to hand-woven or handmade fiber forms. World of Threads Festival
September 18, - Oct. 4, 2009.  In conjunction with the Sixth Oakville Festival for Fibre Arts. Deadline 31st March, 2009. Common Thread is open to all practitioners of textile media and technique. It celebrates both tradition and innovation in textile arts. Traditional technique-based textile forms are exhibited beside contemporary, conceptual textile art. This is an opportunity to provide exposure for emerging and established artists to showcase their work in this unique international Canadian fibre arts festival.

Opportunities at Society for Contemporary Craft - Pittsburg, PA
Exhibitions at SCC are scheduled one to two years in advance and are thematic or media specific. Most are invitational, however there are some juried opportunities available. Artists who would like to be considered for future exhibitions should visit this page for details.

Small Expressions 2010
Small Expressions is an annual international, juried exhibit featuring high quality, contemporary small-scale works sponsored by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. to showcase fiber art of a small scale not to exceed 15 inches (38 cm) in any direction. Entry deadline: US: February 8, 2010; Outside US: February 1, 2010.

Cherokee Heritage Center
Annual Trail of Tears Art Show and Sale held each spring. Basketry category includes baskets that are hand-worked of natural fibers and dyes, such as yucca, willow, three-lobed sumac, honeysuckle root, cottonwood, devil’s claw, splints, cane, ash, etc. or hand-worked materials, including horsehair, metal, yarn, horn, bone, etc. Commercial dyes and commercially processed rattan are allowable with disclosure.
