Some Helpful Hints for
Solving the Basket Puzzles
- You do not need to
rotate any puzzle pieces. The pieces are properly aligned.
- If you think you have a missing piece,
it's probably hidden under other pieces. Grab and move the puzzle around a bit to reveal
the hidden pieces or use the shuffle button.
- Move the pieces
by clicking on them and dragging them to where you want to place them. You will hear a
sound (if your computer has a sound card) when two correct pieces are joined.
- You can make a puzzle harder or easier
by clicking on the "Shapes" button and selecting another version of the puzzle.
I will try to offer links to several versions of each puzzle on the Basketry Fun and Games
Menu.
- What does the Shuffle
button do? Pieces that are not yet placed correctly in the puzzle are mixed up and placed
into view if they were beneath other pieces.
- The timer clock lets time yourself
solving the puzzle. If you ever need to pause the timer, just click on it.
- If you have a picture
that you'd like for me to use as a puzzle at the BasketMakers site, email me. Pictures
need to 400 pixels wide and 300 pixels high and approximately 20K.
- You need to have Java enabled on your
web browser. Older versions of web browsers and WebTV viewers will not be able to play
because their browsers don't support these Java based features.
- Answers to other
technical questions can be found on Jigzone's FAQ list.
