A Basketmaker In Rural Japan
(Coverage once online, but now only available in the book of the same title) On-line Exhibition featuring the content of an exhibit organized by Smithsonian Institution. Features the work of Basketmaker Hiroshima Kazuo. November 13, 2008 through February 8, 2009. Held at the Weiner Gallery of the Muskegon Museum of Art in Muskegon, Michigan featuring artists Lindsay Ketterer Gates, Jan Hopkins, Kay Khan and others who incorporate stitching and sewing as part of a studio art practice.

Bamboo Masterworks
The Asia Society online presentation of bamboo basketry featuring the Lloyd Cotsen collection of Japanese baskets.

Beyond the Basket

Weaving a Culture: Exploring California Indian Baskets is a presentation by the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center detailing the makers, functions, techniques, materials, cultural significance and designs of California Indian basketry.

Celebrating Nature: Craft Traditions/Contemporary Expressions
In FiberARTS November/December 2004 issue, Kevin V. Wallace writes about an exhibition he curated this fall at the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles. Basketmakers Nancy Moore Bess, Judy Mulford, Carol Eckert, Jan Hopkins, Leah Danberg, Ruth Greenberg and Gerri Johnson McMillan are featured.

Connected: The Stitch

Exhibition of the world-renowned Native basketry collection of the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, Seattle, WA. The display includes several hundred baskets, most made by Northwest Coast artists.
